One month after my 19th birthday, and 1 year from my last ACF competition cake, I again entered an American Culinary Federation wedding cake competition. I recieved a gold medal for this cake.

Those flowers look great, what an amount of detail (must take ages?). I SO wouldn't be good at doing this job :p firstly I'd want to eat it the whole way through the process, I would go crazy for details and never be satisfied and if it were finished I wouldn't want to let it go and get ruined by hungry people lol :D

Yes, it did take a looong time. It took an over an hour just to place the finished flowers on the cake.
And yes, it was almost painful to have to cut into it. :)
